Beauty box: Contents and review of my February 2013 Enchantess bag

Enchantess beauty subscription bag review and contents February
I had my apprehensions before I received my first Enchantess bag today - almost every review I had read about their earlier bags was negative and I was expecting a couple of sachets of some shampoo or cream. This one is also Rs 399 or £4.75 a month.
The bag isn't very sturdy, but you can fill it with pot pourri or something.

Essie Wild Thing nail polish
I received Essie nail polish in Wild Thing (full size), The Body Shop eye colour in Golden Meadow (full size) and two sachets (argh!) of Avani Dead Sea Cosmetics Relaxing Body Lotion.
I'm impressed with the Essie nail polish. The colour is a lovely deep wine-ish berry with glitter that gives greater depth and is opaque in two or three coats. I always love Essie's polishes, and I'm so glad they sent me this, a colour I don't have! I'll do a mani with this soon.

The Body Shop eye colour is a shimmery green-gold mix and is really pretty. I swiped it with a finger and it seems
pigmented enough, so this will go into the making of an EOTD soon, though it is better for nightwear. Does Body Shop eyeshadow crease, anyone? I'm not sure The Body Shop belongs in a sampling programme. But since I like the product, I'm not going to complain.

I hate sachets. I can't tell you how much. I'm sorry, but I really don't like them and as for the idea of paying for them... well! They could give you travel-size samples in tiny jars, like the SA at Estee Lauder does. Anything but a sachet, please! Where am I supposed to try it out, on my pinky and thumb? Besides, you can't even reuse the "container". So I'll hand over the sachets sans ceremony to my long-suffering mom.
Apart from the sachets, I'm pleased for the price. You're supposed to get a fashion magazine free, but it will turn up separately. I also liked the pretty card they personalised. Knowing Murphy, if I stay away, they'll send out Chanel, Lancome and Estee Lauder, whereas if I subscribe, I ought to get three 1ml sachets of something I'm allergic to. On that note, I'll sign up for the next month and hope I'm not disappointed (please, no sachets).
