Manicure: China Glaze Spontaneous nail polish and Prism glitter duochrome

China Glaze Spontaneous nail polish swatch
My weekend nails involve two coats of China Glaze Spontaneous nail polish followed by a half-nail single-coat of China Glaze Prism. I was inspired by Hannah Roberts, whose pretty manicure you can see here. There are a couple of changes - I thought I would combine a creme with glitter, and I have applied on Prism rather thickly. I think sparser glitter would have been a lot prettier.

Spontaneous is a medium dusky purple creme polish which gives good opacity in two coats. I have no idea when it was released; all I know is, it is my favourite China Glaze creme polish.
Prism belongs to the China Glaze Prismatic Collection released in May 2012. I was so excited about the Prismatic collection which was supposed to be duochrome polish. But honestly, I can't see much duochrome, though there is plenty of glitter. You can get great coverage with just one coat. Prism has purplish holo glitter. Next time, though, I'm going to apply a lot less glitter.
