Lip service: Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub review

I'm feeling a little worried - my MUA haul, made more than a month ago, is yet to arrive :( Darn postal services!
Anyway, I know everyone and their shadow has already tried and loved the Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub, but I have to drool all over it - it is that amazing. Please put up with me even if you discovered the lip scrub a decade ago.

I wanted the Popcorn Lip Scrub and they told me it wasn't available. So I switched over to Mint Julips and tried it out at the shop... There was something missing. My third choice: Sweetlips Sugar Scrub. Ditto.
Finally, they handed me this. "Bubblegum?" I thought. "Nope, that's for kids. I've taken a whiff of this before and wasn't really hooked. Not my thing." Nonetheless, I didn't want to offend the SA who even gave us a card for a free Lush facial, so I dunked a fingertip and... OH MY GOD! How did I live so long without this lip scrub?

For starters, it is incredibly gentle on the lips. Not one of those coarse textures. The scrub sort of melts into the lips as it scrubs. It gets rid of dry flakes in a jiffy (as well as lippy). Here's the best part: you don't rinse it off. Instead, you lick it off. And, that's where I was hooked - the taste. According to the lid, it tastes of candy floss. I think it tastes much nicer than candy floss! Not overly sweet, very pleasant. No annoying aftertaste. Lush should market this as a snack. Even my dad loves the taste and he doesn't have a sweet tooth. As you can see from the label, the ingredients don't mention anything harmful (what's methyl ionone?). To anyone who hasn't tried this yet - here is a must-have! P.S. This is my own opinion and I bought the scrub with my own money.
