Manicure: Fall nails with Bourjois Bleu Moonlight nail polish

Bourjois 1 seconde silicone gel nail polish 16 Bleu Moonlight swatch and review
I love fall and I can't say it enough - the spring pastels are too bland and summer pops too loud. Now fall has darker colours with so much depth and mystery. I could hardly wait to hear "fall is coming" before I dug out the vampiest polish I could lay my hands on - the Bourjois One Second Silicone Texture Gel Polish in #16 Bleu Moonlight.
And if that wasn't vampy enough for me, I decided to bring in a winter touch with silver stamping using China Glaze Devotion. The stamping didn't come out smoothly; I need to file off my stamper's surface a bit.

This shade is very similar to O.P.I. Russian Navy in intensity. O.P.I. Ink is somewhat purpler. Bleu Moonlight is somewhere between China Glaze Up All Night and O.P.I. Ink.

The formula is decent; better than Essie (for me), but nowhere near O.P.I, China Glaze and Zoya in that order. There isn't any streaking, but the polish is runnier than I would like. I hope you can see the microshimmer there. The brush is broad, which made application easy. Believe me, there is only one coat each on two fingers, while there are two coats on two other fingers;
 the thumb has just the one coat as well.
I'll do a swatch of my favourite polish at the moment - O.P.I. Yoga-ta Get This Blue - next time.
