EOTD: Smoky eye makeup with Sleek iDivine Sunset Eyeshadow Palette

EOTD: Smoky eye makeup with Sleek iDivine Sunset Eyeshadow Palette
EOTD: Smoky eye makeup with Sleek iDivine Sunset Eyeshadow PaletteArgh, I look like Morgan Le Fay. I'm never pulling this stunt again! Right, I'll tell you what happened.
It had been a while since I pulled out the Sleek iDivine Sunset Eyeshadow Palette, swatched and reviewed here. So I thought I would give it a go and took it with me at the last minute.
And, since I thought I was ready to do an out-and-out smoky eye makeup look, I decided to use three eyeshadows, including black, and make it dark and sultry. I've ended up looking exactly how I imagine Morgan Le Fay would look.
The Sleek iDivine Sunset Eyeshadow Palette doesn't have shade names, so you'll have to rely on descriptions from the photo below!

I wanted to pick pink gold and rose as the main colour, so I could see if the new N@ked 3 palette will suit me.

Unlike the usual eyeshadow looks I do, I didn't begin with the crease this time. Instead, I applied the rose (second from bottom right hand corner) and layered the third, pale gold shadow over it, in the inner one-third area of the eyelid and crease. I followed this up with the rose gold eyeshadow that is third from the top left hand corner (between the deep red and the orange) in the outer crease and outer half of the eyelid. Above this, I applied some black eyeshadow to smoke the look - it's the black eyeshadow that gives me the Morgan Le Fay look!

I used the Urban Decay Primer Potion for this look. I prefer Too Faced Shadow Insurance any day as it blends out easily for me. And followed it up with  eyeliner and LancĂ´me Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara.

So what did you think of the Morgan Le Fay look? This is my entry to the smoky eye Friday link-up hosted by Leticia of Cosmetics Aficionado. You can get the link here and participate as often as you like.

I'll try to fit in a smoky eye look with the Accessorize You Are Everything palette next Friday.
