Wish Trend Beauty Box 15 review, unboxing, photos: International beauty box

Wish Trend Beauty Box 15 review, unboxing, photos: International beauty box

If you've seen my review of Wish Trend beauty box #14, you'll know why I signed up for Wish Box #15 immediately, especially when they said there would be face makeup as well as skin care. The Wish Box 15 is named "Cosmic Bloom" and contains nine different kinds of products - and it ships worldwide from Korea. My box arrived by registered post within 10 days of my ordering it. The external box was battered but the internal Wish Box itself was in very good nick. They had included a couple of extra samples with my box, as usual - the famous Dr Color Effect Red Serum from Skin & Labs and Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream.

Here are the contents of my Cosmic Bloom Wishbox from Wish Trend:

I love cosmeceuticals and the Gehwol Med Foot Salve for Cracked Skin is one from Germany. Gehwol is a foot-care specialist company and the photographs will show that they have a range of products to treat foot problems, even for those with diabetes. Please click on the photographs to enlarge them and read the details.

While my heels aren't cracked, they do tend to dry over the winter months, so I'm sure this cream will provide some much needed moisture. It contains avocado, glycerin, panthenols, menthol, rosemary, citronella, thyme, lavender and eucalyptus oils and camphor but no parabens. This is a full-size product and will find space in my suitcase in two weeks.

The Max Clinic Night Flash Massage Oil Foam is another full size product in the Wishbox #15. There are 10 x 5ml sachets inside the box, making it a nice 50ml of the foam - the website says 3ml but my packaging says 5!. Apparently this is a cleansing oil that actually turns into foam and removes makeup, blackheads and other impurities and leaves your face squeaky clean. Incidentally, the oils in question are vitamin E, Green Tea Seed oil and lemon oil and will not break you out - let's see! I will give this a shot during my trip and do a detailed review - an oil that foams up needs to be tried! I'm glad they were generous enough to include so much!

I received three fragrances of the Liquid Marseille Soap from Panier Des Sens En Provence - Hydrating Rose, Firming Sea Fennel and Energising Verbena. Since these should last for a week at least, I will be taking these along for my trip and see if the moisture lingers for 24 hours, as the write-up claims.

I received the Elisha Coy Always Nuddy CC Cream in my November Glamabox as well, and I haven't opened either. I'm thinking of giving them away unopened, along with some more Korean cosmetics in my next giveaway between my first blogoversary and (not first) birthday early next year.

There are three Edge Fit Heart Filler Creams in the Cosmic Bloom box. These are supposed to contain hyaluronic acid, argan extract and witch hazel to increase elasticity of the skin and moisturise it well enough for 72 hours! No parabens here either, so I'll give the three samples a shot continuously after I come back.

The CB Cream from CB Cosmetics is supposed to "whiten" your face instantly - I'll be giving this a miss, since I am dead against whitening of any form. I'm fine with spot treatments or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation care but I don't understand why anyone would want to "whiten" themselves. Besides, if any of these actually worked, the populations of large continents would be wiped out or transformed instantly! If it's only meant to brighten, call it "brightening" and not whitening or lightening.

The Lavina BB Cream compact is something I can't wait to try! While BB and CC creams usually don't give me enough coverage (I'm a foundation person), this "pact" sample, with its sponge by the side, is something I believe will work for me, because the texture looks thicker than usual BB Creams and more cream-to-powder.
If the Isfren Rx Magic Eye Solution Wise Patch does what the packet shows, I'll be delighted! I'm going to try this as soon as my cold passes - falling ill makes my dark circles worse.

Perfume vials in beauty boxes aren't my cup of tea either. The Lion Heart EDT smells good. I usually keep vials for travel and this one goes along with me for Christmas.

So that's my Wishbox #15 - some lovely products there, and a couple that I didn't really like. But if a box does reasonably well consistently and you love seven out of nine products (in this instance), then the box is a major win! I can't wait to see what Wish Trend comes out with next year.
How to order a Wish Box: Prices vary. This one cost me $19.99 (plus $10 registered post and a 5% voucher for buying the previous box) and is now even less at $14.99 (Argh! Impatient loony!) Usually, Wish Boxes sell out very quickly, so if you fancy grabbing the Wishbox #15 for a Christmas treat, you can do so here. And, if it's your first order, you get a free registered shipping voucher!
