Bourjois Erasable Eyeliner review, swatch and usage with other liners

Bourjois Erasable Eyeliner review, swatch and use with other liners
I've found a Holy Grail eyeliner! It's black and it's liquid but wait till you read ahead, pencil-fans (I like pencils and shadow-liners myself). Bourjois is probably my favourite drugstore brand and I love how they bring out some innovative products, such as the One Second Magic Polish Remover. And their regular products are on par with high-end in terms of quality, such as the Rouge Edition lipsticks and the Duochrome pencil liners.
When I first saw the Erasable Liners, I thought they were nail art pens, the kind you press down, like Barry M. And then, I was told they were eyeliners, so I thought they must be intended to make particularly thick lines. I couldn't have been more wrong. Thankfully I had the sense to pick up two of these.

Here's the detailed review and swatch of the Bourjois Erasable Liner.

Packaging of the Bourjois Erasable Liner:

This used to be the shape of all Bourjois liquid liners and they had blue, olive green, brown and so on, remember? And then those seemed to just disappear from the market and now I can only find the conical bottles of glitter liners or cylindrical clubbing liners. Of course, the brushes in those things were crap and would split and shed in weeks.

Anyway, back to the Erasable liner. There's a white tip. We're getting there.

The applicator is a brush, of course.

Formula and staying power of the Bourjois Erasable liner:

I don't have a problem with consistency as long as it looks decent in the end. The liquid comes across as thick and gloopy but I'll take it over runny any day. The surprising thing is how it dries - into an even, thin-layered, pencil-like charcoalish finish. I love it! No gloop, no thickness. It feels light and un-liquidy. How? And it isn't one of those wretched peel-offs either.

You can see that I've done a thick line and a thinner line. The packaging claims this will stay on for 16 hours. I haven't worn it for that duration, but it certainly lasts all day, no question.

How the Bourjois Erasable Liner works:

Wait for the eyeliner to dry completely. And then, using the eraser tip, erase the blooper or error you've made. Voila! No balling up or pilling! And you don't have to scrub away, just a couple of light strokes.

Does the Bourjois Erasable Liner work with other products?

Even the SA claimed this wouldn't work on other eyeliners - BUT IT DOES!
Bourjois Erasable Eyeliner review, swatch and use with other linersFrom left to right, I have:
M.A.C. liquid liner,
MUFE Aqua Liner
Bourjois Glitter Liner
MUA liquid liner
Bourjois Erasable - thick line
Bourjois Erasable - thin line
Too Faced Metal Eyed liquid liner
Sephora liquid eyeliner
As you can see, the glitter in Too Faced Metal Eyed and Bourjois Glitter Liner have spread a bit, but the eyeliners, especially the non-glitter ones, have been erased well! EUREKA! Sorry about the caps, but I've just discovered the part about other eyeliners myself and am excited! And no pilling anywhere!
I haven't tried it with pencils yet but presume it won't work.
Oh, and the SA in Doha gave me a gift with purchase - a Bourjois 150th Anniversary notebook. Cute, innit?

For those given to making bloopers *cough me cough*, the Bourjois Erasable liner is such a blessing. I have my Mavala Corrector which I've used for the last two years, but this is handier as it comes with the liner itself. That it works with other eyeliners is a plus. So yes, I will repurchase.
