MuLondon White Chocolate Elbow, Knee and Heel Cream review

MuLondon White Chocolate Elbow, Knee and Heel Cream review, usage results, photosWho doesn't love digging into a tub of creamy white chocolate? I prefer the white version over brown chocolate any day. I used to eat a tub of the Nestle Milkybar Little Pot Smooth and Creamy White Chocolate Dessert every single day - more if I was stressed - while at university (the lady at Sainsbury's checkout would stare at the number of tubs in my basket), and didn't grow fat. In fairness, I did ju-jitsu. And a set of four tubs came to just £1.00.
Now that we have established my love for white chocolate, you can guess how thrilled I was to receive a white chocolate-based elbow, knee and heel cream from MuLondon in my Christmas edition of the A Beautiful World beauty box from the UK (see unboxing here). This cream looked exactly like the Nestle dessert, and it was all I could do not to dig a finger in and taste it.

Here is my review of the MuLondon White Chocolate Elbow, Knee and Heel Cream.

MuLondon is a London-based brand that makes hand-whipped, vegan, 100% organic, cruelty-free moisturisers. Ingredients are wild-crafted and all environment-friendly and from fair-trade suppliers.
This cream comes in a glass jar which contains 60ml product. It is exclusive to A Beautiful World.

Formula of MuLondon White Chocolate Elbow, Heel and Knee Cream

The moment you open the jar, the rich smell of delectable chocolate hits your nostrils. I think of Lindt, of Cadbury's, of Nestle.... I can go on and on about how darn GOOD this product smells but we would be here forever and I have to go make my soup for dinner. The cream itself looks just like white chocolate - like the Nestle dessert I mentioned above.

It is thick and rich. When you rub it in, there is a bit of shine, but you aren't left feeling greasy - see pictures below.

Ingredients are shea butter, coconut butter, jojoba oil, carnauba wax, vanilla extract, cocoa extract and rosemary extract. Nothing that I wouldn't eat! No preservatives, either. As MuLondon founder and owner Boris puts it, if you wouldn't eat it, an ingredient shouldn't be in a beauty product.

Use and results of MuLondon White Chocolate Elbow, Heel and Knee Cream

The instructions on the jar say you should scoop out a small amount, melt between the palms and rub over dry spots such as elbows, knees and heels, to protect, moisturise and soften.
Especially from November to February, my elbows and knees become dry. And because I rest my elbows on rough surfaces, I used to have ashy elbows with pigmentation and little bumps.
I have been using this cream after every shower, from the second week of November - a little goes a long way. I can tell you under oath that it has made my elbows softer, non-scaly and non-spotty, despite continuing to rest my elbows on the chair and table. The picture proves it. Nor did my legs become "reptilian" this year, as I've been using a dot of the MuLondon cream on my pins. I can't speak for my heels or knees - they were decent enough to begin with.
Sorry about the weird angle (and Winnie the Pooh), but it is difficult to photograph your own elbow, clearly! I'm trying to show that my elbows are not spotty or flaky or ashen anymore. The pigmentation from constantly resting my elbows has also reduced a great deal.

Bottom Line
I absolutely love this cream and will repurchase in June, by which time I expect it to run out. I have an ABW voucher which will come in handy! I recommend this cream to anyone with troublesome knees and elbows - the dry, flaky, ashen kind with little bumps due to loads of friction. The full-size jar of MuLondon White Chocolate Elbow, Knee and Heel Cream costs £19 and you can pick it up exclusively from abeautifulworld.co.uk - yes, they do ship worldwide!
