Neon manicure with Color Club Peace Out Purple

Neon manicure with Color Club Peace Out Purple and nail art stickers
Neons are sadly lacking in my nail polish stash, which now holds only some 300 bottles. Apart from China Glaze Four Leaf Clover, which my camera miraculously turns into a turquoise blue instead of the neon green it is, I don't own any real neon polishes. I received my first Color Club nail polish in my April Lip Factory Box - it was Peace Out Purple, a bright purply-pink, and decided to rope it in as my base colour. I then picked some fluorescent green nail art stickers I had picked up back in 2012 from a roadside shop. Believe it or not, the glue still adheres!
Color Club Peace Out Purple belongs to the Poptastic Neons Collection, which includes "psychedelic" shades inspired by the 1960s. It certainly looks Pink Floyd-ish! Here is how the nail polish looks without the stickers, in natural light:

The formula is more crelly than creme. There was some streaking even with two coats and it took me three coats to achieve opacity - even so, you can see faint outlines of the nail tips. Drying time was longer than I had expected and I got a few dings even with Sephora drying oil, which is why my ring finger already has the nail art stickers affixed.
When you peel off this polish (as I do when I'm bored), it "squishes" off instead of coming off in peels! The polish is three-free (no formaldehyde, toluene or dibutyl-phthalate), cruelty-free and vegan. I absolutely love the finish; it is so glazed that you won't need topcoat.

I did, however, apply topcoat after affixing the nail art stickers, to keep them in place. I have a few boxes of assorted stickers and have just found out how convenient and quick they are - and pretty - so you will see use of stickers in my manicures more frequently. The first photograph was with flash; the smaller pictures are in natural light. Does neon suit me? Do share your thoughts on this mani!
This is my entry to the GOT Polish Challenge for May 8.
