Hair special Memebox review, unboxing

Memebox Hair special beauty box review, unboxing
After some 10 years of everyday washing with a sulphate-shampoo and no conditioning, oiling or treatment, is it any wonder that my hair is dry, frizzy and brittle? The daily-washing did not do much damage when I had short, Princess Diana-style hair. But the frizz began to show once I grew it. It was only since late-2012 that I stopped using sulphates and began using hair packs. So is it any wonder that I bought the hair-special Memebox when it came out?
This beauty box, which is still available here, contains products that claim to transform dry, frizzy hair into lustrous, healthy locks. At $29, that sounded too good to resist, especially since they kept giving out Memepoints generously at the time.

Here is my review and unboxing of the Memebox for Hair.

The contents of the Hair Superbox from Memebox are:
  1. Esthetic House [sic] Ceramide Treatment Protein Repair System
  2. Green Tea Baobab Oil
  3. Glam Up Brilliant Hair Steam Pack
  4. Saeron Cosmetics Hair Repair Keratin Water
  5. Boutique Bebe Hair Salon Ampoule
  6. Assorter Scalp Scaling Gel
  7. Assorter Scalp Massage Brush

A quick look at all seven products.
We have seen something similar to the Esthetic House [sic] Ceramide Treatment Protein Repair System - the CC protein booster box. Since I loved that, I hope I love this syringe as well. It is meant to be applied on shampooed, towel-dried hair for repair.

The product I am most excited about in this box is the Green Tree Baobab Oil. I have heard lots about baobab oi, which packs a punch of moisture, and can't wait to see how de-frizzing it is.

Memebox has sent out other hair packs similar to the Glam Up Brilliant Hair Steam Pack in the Hair and Body Box, but since I liked the first pack, it is nice to get more of these.

The Saeron Hair Repair Keratin Water is fermented from grains.Washing your hair in rice water is supposed to be a big thing in east Asia, so this spray-on treatment is probably based on that.

Boutique Bebe Salon Ampoule is an overnight treatment for dry hair. It contains bean flour, red bean extract, olive oil, plant roots and Korean honey locust (EDIT: That last-named happens to be a tree).

The Assorter Scalp Scaling Gel is most welcome, given that my scalp has begun flaking because of the change in the weather. I am going to be trying it out tonight, for the first time.

Scalp massaging is something I have never tried. The Assorted Scalp Massaging Brush is meant just for that. The bristles feel soft and gel-like on the scalp, at first go, and do not tangle up the hair.

Summary
I am going to try out everything in this box in July and hope these products make my hair less frizzy. I have really toned down on Memebox purchasing recently, especially because of an upcoming trip and Sephora haul, but this box has definitely been worth it.
Apart from this Hair box, Memebox now has an updated version of the Hair and Body box, which is available individually and as a bundle with the Superfood and the K-Pop beauty box here. They also have a cleanser/scrub-special box now, along with a Cute Box of cutesy packaging here. I am eyeing the latter bundle.
I have a Memebox giveaway going on here, if you want to check that out.
Please sign this petition to ask Memebox to ship to all countries, as they used to do. Thirty-seven more signatures required.
