Bdellium Tools and EcoTools makeup brushes haul

Bdellium Tools and EcoTools makeup brushes hauled from iHerb
Recently, iHerb offered free worldwide shipping for orders above $40. I was looking to get myself some new makeup brushes anyway, so I went on board rightaway.
Makeup artist and blogger Norah Salazar of Norah Loves Makeup had recommended the Bdellium Tools brushes to me and those were at the top of my wishlist.
For those who are new, iHerb sells natural and eco-friendly brands and they ship worldwide. They have regular offers where non-DHL shipping is used, so it does not always fall under the customs radar. You can sign up here and get up to $10 off your first order with my referral code WZJ030.

But first, check out the Bdellium Tools and Eco Tools makeup brushes I bought.

So I picked up the following brushes:
  1. Bdellium Tools Foundation 4-piece brush set
  2. Bdellium Tools Face 957 Precision Kabuki brush
  3. Bdellium Tools Smoky Eyes 5-piece brush set
  4. Bdellium Tools Crease 781 brush
  5. EcoTools Eye Enhancing Duo
A very quick look at each.

Bdellium Tools Foundation 4-piece Brush Set

I was looking for a decent set of face brushes, although the Beautyblender is always going to be my HG applicators. But I cannot use it for buffing in loose powder, for instance. Norah had recommended the Bdellium Tools 957 Precision Kabuki Brush to me - thanks a gazillion for the suggestions, Norah! This set is the Yellow "Bambu" version for $36.55 and contains the 957, the 956 Finishing Brush, the 953 Duet Fibre Foundation brush and the 948 Foundation Brush. Detailed review once I use them for a while. Which could take time, since I don't fancy getting foundation on these pristine bristles.

Bdellium Tools Face 957 Precision Kabuki brush

This travel-sized brush is anti-bacterial. It had gone on my cart first, and then I saw the set, but forgot to take this off. Never mind, I need a spare for travelling anyway. After a couple of uses, I am really liking this brush and am glad I have two.

Bdellium Tools Smoky Eyes 5-piece brush set

It was when I was packing for my trip that I realised that my eye brushes were not very travel-friendly. Ideally, I want two small, compact sets to take along for a 10-day trip, since I may not wash them every day and I get slightly an@l-retentive if I do not find clean brushes. Also, the idea of all those metal containers and large cases was not appealing. Dual-ended brushes would not last long in my suitcase either, so I picked up this set for just $22, which is a nice deal for five eco-friendly brushes. This contains the 781 Crease brush, the 777 Shadow Brush, the 769 Angled Contour brush, the 760 Liner brush and the 716 Smoky Eyeliner brush.

Bdellium Tools Crease 781 brush

This is from the Green Bambu series and cost just $7.20. I was looking for the best eyeshadow brushes for small eyes and found this listed pretty much everywhere. Love it already and will tell you more about my hunt for brushes for small eyes soon.

EcoTools Eye Enhancing Duo

I had won the Six-Piece Essential Eye brush set in a giveaway and, when I saw this set for $5.99, I added it to my cart without stopping to think. Where are you going to get four brush-heads for $5.99? There is a liner, a smudger, a crease-head and a shader here. I will have to store them flat, though.
