Memebox Colour, Scent Bundles review, unboxing

Memebox Colour and Scent Bundles 1 review, unboxing
We have finally come to the end of the Memebox Unboxing Week here. I no longer have a backlog of boxes from a month ago, and only have whatever shipped after August 12 to show you.
The Colour and Scent bundle unboxing posts are long overdue. Unfortunately, matters were delayed after I faced a few problems and was trying to get them resolved by Memebox.
These bundles are basically groups of three boxes, themed by scent or colour. Individually, each box costs $15, but if you buy two, you get the third gratis. So you pay $30 for three boxes, or $10 for a box. The Colour bundle includes Red, Blue and Orange boxes while the Scent bundle 1 includes Rose, Baby Powder and Grapefruit. A second Scent bundle featuring c, c, and c has been released by Memebox.
The problems were two-fold, in my case. First of all, I never received the Baby Powder box. After almost six weeks of constant emailing, tweeting, Facebook comments and messaging and Instagram comments, I concluded that I was never going to receive the Baby Powder box. Memebox gave me some Memepoints. But wait. The Blue colour box turned up with a broken lipstick. Cue three points. Details follow in the post.

Here is my review and unboxing of the Red, Blue and Orange Colour Bundle and Scent Bundle 1 - Rose and Grapefruit - boxes from Memebox.

Scent bundle first. I only have Rose and Grapefruit to show you, obviously, and can only imagine what Baby Powder must have been like. Sniff.

The Rose box contains the following:

Evas Rosemine Floral Remedy Foam Cleanser 120ml

I was a little worried this box would smell too strongly of roses, which I don't really like. Thankfully, this is mild. A really nice cleanser containing real Bulgarian roses. I have tried it a few times now and it has not broken me out, but has left my skin squeaky clean.

Happy Bath Rose Essence Body Wash 200g

This contains rose oil and extracts of vitamins A and C. I haven't tried it yet, what with all the shower gels and soap bars queued up in my bathroom, but I soon will.

Evas Rosemine Plumpy Tint in Roseberry 13g

This is a very moisturising tinted balm. I use it as a balm. My gripe is that the product tends to separate so I have to shake well before using.

Hope Girl Magic Primer 2ml sachets x 5

This is supposed to be a rose-scented primer which will cover up pores and fine lines. I have not tried it out yet. You cannot find fault with the foil sachets here, considering the three full-sized products that came in for just $10.

The Grapefruit box contains the following:

Evas Mimi Lauryne's Dress Perfume Mist de Grapefruit 150ml

This citrusy fragrance is for fabric alone. Ideal for spritzing on to clothes just before packing them in your suitcase. Generous sizes in this box as well.

Kael23 Sun Killing Grapefruit Gel 270ml

There is 16g grapefruit extract in each of these bottles. This is a hydrating and soothing gel for sunburnt skin.

Sun Smile Hydro Gel Choosy Fruit lip mask x 2

Two more lip masks. Goody!

Happy Farm Deo Fresh pack of 20

Deodorant wipes to freshen up during hot days.

It took me more than a month to get a proper reply about the missing Baby Powder box. As I had paid on May 15th, I could not get a Paypal resolution, as the 45-day gap was over. Finally, Memebox gave me 15 points for the missing box and three points for the broken lipstick.

Now for the Colour bundle. Here, the boxes are a lot more similar:

All three contain the Tosowoong Gel Pencil liner in red, blue or orange, respectively.
All three contain the L'Ocean eyeshadow in the respective colours.

All three have a lipstick. Red, orange and a blue which goes on transparent and then changes colour into a purple.
All three have a nail polish.

The orange box alone has a Cheek Room lip gloss extra.
As you can see, the blue colour-changing lipstick is broken. I cannot retrieve it in one piece from the lid. Boo!

The eyeshadows aren't too bad - check out the swatches here!
Also, the eye liners are quite good! Take a look at the swatches.

Summary
I love these bundles and wish I had received all three Scent bundles. At $10 a box of full-sized products, these are absolute steals. I have ordered the second Scent bundle and cannot wait for it to arrive.
The second Scent bundle has long sold out, but you can check out the latest Memeboxes on sale here, here and here. Do use my link here to get points back on some of the boxes.
Normal blogging from tomorrow, ye who are sick of Memebox by now!
