My Fall 2014 Beauty Wishlist

My Fall 2014 Beauty Wishlist

I have had to amend my mid-year makeup wishlist, seen here. There have been just too many new launches which I absolutely need. We have all been there. Besides, I did manage to get a few of the things from my mid-year list, namely, Benefit Big Easy, Lorac Pro 2, Ciate Flower Manicure Kit, YSL Rouge Volupte Shine lipstick and IT Cosmetics Celebration foundation. I also gave up on Benefit Agent Zero Shine and the Rimmel Stay Matte Mousse foundation from the list, because neither worked for me upon swatching. Not all of the products on this wishlist are Fall releases - some have been around for a while. And, mind you, this wishlist has been edited, culled and minimised to an extent I once thought impossible.
Just when you think you have all the palettes you need, they go out and release THE mother of all palettes - it happens to me every time. This Fall, I have three palettes on my must-have list. Not to mention a bunch of other goodies, some of which you have already seen on my mid-year wishlist.

A quick look at the beauty products I want to buy this Fall.

Palettes

theBalm N*de Dude palette

Ermagerd! I need a N#de Dude in my life! Double entendre unintended, or intended - work it out for yourself. I love the original N#ude 'Tude palette and I know I will love this as well. With that kind of risque packaging, medium-neutral eyeshadows, shade names such as Feisty, Fierce, Fit and Fine, and a Bodybuilder Mascara, what's not to love?

theBalm Balmsai palette

theBalm is on fire this Fall! This is an eyeshadow and eyebrow palette in one. The shades are mostly neutral with a couple of jewel tones, and you know I am a giant fan of theBalm palettes. This palette also contains stencils which means I don't have to worry about fallout, mascara smudges, wormy eyebrows or eyeshadow blending on to my cheekbones again.

This or that:

Lorac Mega Pro Palette

This is a "want-to-buy-if-I-can" rather than a "need-to-buy". I love the look of this palette, yes, but wonder how many of these shades are unique. It is on my wishlist, but I will take a close look at swatches before buying.

Too Faced Everything Nice palette

If I do not get Lorac Mega Pro, I will opt for this - that too, only if I manage to find a promotion or some kind of special offer with a huge GWP. I already have Too Faced's 2013 Holiday palette, A Few Of My Favourite Things, reviewed here, and there is  no need to buy up every single holiday palette, especially when the shades are not all unique.

Lip products

Nars Audacious Lipsticks in Anna and Vanessa/Anita

To be honest, I expected that I would want at least half a dozen of the Nars Audacious lipsticks. But I went through a gazillion swatches and only two appeared muted-dusty-rosy-mauvey to me. I have not quite made up my mind between Vanessa and Anita yet. If I had to pick just one, I would go for Anna alone. Maybe I have lipstick saturation.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lip Stains

I love Bourjois and I want Happy N*de Year and Peach Club from this range. These are stay-on lipstains that are not going to budge for hours. Can't wait for them to launch at the local counters.

Hourglass Opaque Rouge liquid lipstick

This has been on my wishlist for a while now, but I keep putting off purchasing, because I swear by the amazing Chanel Rouge Double Intensite, reviewed here. I love the thick liquid formula of such lip colours and do not find it drying. Think I'll get Canvas and Rose from this range.

Other products

Beautyblender micro mini

I have mad love for the Original Beautyblender, reviewed here, and the mini version would be great for precision work, highlighting, contouring, applying concealer and eyeshadow primer and so on. This super-cute sponge is one-fourths the size of the original. Can't wait to get my hands on it!

Benefit Majorette Blush

Normally, I prefer powder blushes over cream ones, but this is just so pretty to resist! I have read very good reviews about it. Plus, it is peachy/coral, my go-to blush shade.

Zoya Fall 2014 Collection

The nail polish collection to absolutely wow me this Fall is Zoya's. I want the entire range of Entice & Ignite polishes, especially Autumn, India and Remy.
