Laura Geller Iconic Baked Sculpting Lipstick Review, Swatches

Laura Geller Iconic Baked Sculpting Lipsticks were an Autumn 2015 launch. I was on a no-lipstick-buy phase at the time, but they went on Boxing Day sales at just £8. I picked up two - Central Park Spice and East Side Rouge. No prizes for guessing what kind of shades they are.
What makes the Laura Geller Iconic Baked Sculpting Lipsticks stand out is the curved tip that will fit snugly along the lip contours. And have a dekko at those gorgeously patterned bullets.

The packaging of the Laura Geller Iconic Baked Sculpting Lipsticks is utilitarian - a black matte metallic tube with magnetic closure (inside a basic external box with all the info). Nothing blingy, but sturdy enough.
There are 12 shades available in this range, including bolds, vampies and brights. You can find shades suitable for all seasons. Needless to say, I picked the dusty pink and the subtle neutral and ignored the rest.

The formula is the last word in creamy. I found the shape of the bullet a bit of a pain while swatching on the forearm but the curvature worked well on my lips. These contain sweet almond oil for hydration, and artisan-baked pigments for full opacity. The lipsticks are non-drying and the staying power is as good as Lancome Rouge in Love and Nars Audacious. Not as good as matte liquid lipsticks such as Chanel Rouge Double Intensite, Rimmel Apocalips (which is matte - NOT the glossy Provocalips), MUFE Aqua Rouge and so on. You can get about four to six hours depending on food intake.

ESR is first, followed by CPS. Natural light; moisturised skin. The curved tip of the brand-new Central Park Spice made swatching a bit hard.

East Side Rouge is on the left, Central Park Spice is on the right. My lips are dry after three months of antibiotics and other drying medicines but these are quite hydrating. I haven't seen a shade prettier than Central Park Spice. East Side Rouge is a cool dusty pink, but equally "me".

Verdict and where to buy Laura Geller Iconic Baked Sculpting Lipsticks

Go buy. Early days, but these are my favourite lip products in 2016 so far. I adore the shades and the formula and am impressed by the staying power.
I bought these on the Boxing Day sales at half price, but now they cost £16 from Feelunique here - buy two and you get a lip crayon as a gift. Free delivery worldwide. For those in the US, Ulta offers these for $21 - buy here. You can also buy from Cult Beauty here or Beauty Bay here. Both ship internationally.
