Beauty Empties: April 2017

What are you getting your Mum for Mother's Day? I've got mine a book by her favourite author, and a couple of beauty goodies, including a Laura Geller Fifty Kisses liquid lipstick - review of this range coming soon.
Among my April 2017 beauty empties is a Swedish product that I've fallen in love with. There are two or three cult favourites that are staples in my cabinet. All of that further below.

Scroll down for a closer look at the beauty products I used up in April 2017, and my impressions of each.

Face:

Oskia Renaissance Mask

A staple in my weekly routine. This enzyme-rich, nourishing mask, along with Oskia's Renaissance Cleansing Gel, gives me a glow like no tomorrow. Review coming soon.
Repurchase? Always and forever.
Buy it here.

Enprani Dreams Come True Bounce Cheese Cream

The mozzarella-like, stringy, cheese-scented beauty product that made Memebox a sensation. I used up my entire stock of this after "saving" it for ages. A nice last-step occlusive that locks in all my prior steps.
Repurchase? No.

CosRx One-Step Pimple Clear Pads

I tried this as a replacement for my Stridex pads. Not as strong, and without as much "liquid", but controlled breakouts and blackheads equally well.
Repurchase? I hear Tosowoong has one - I'll try that next.
Buy it here.

Sarah Chapman Skinesis Rapid Radiance Cleanser

A beautiful night-time second cleanse containing lactic acid, clay, and herbs. I keep it on for a few minutes as a mask before rinsing off.
Repurchase? Already done. I have three more bottles of this goodness.

Victoria Scandinavian Soaps' Lanolin Agg-Tval

Warning: dramatic drooling ahead.
Any Swedish readers here? PLEASE tell me where I can get this stuff at cost price. I adore this soap SO very much for cleansing my face in the mornings.
I got this AMAZING product in a period box, and want a bazillion. It is made of egg-white, yoghurt, edelweiss, olive oil, glycerin and rose water. It brings down acne and tones my skin beautifully. It does not sting at all, even in the eyes, even right after an invasive procedure such as dermarolling. It is the gentlest ever; creamy with a hint of lather. It doubles as a tightening egg mask, which helps with oil control.
This company has been around since 1905. You cannot argue with 112 years of experience!
Repurchase? If I cannot find it elsewhere, I'll buy off Amazon, and keep my fingers crossed that they send me the exact same thing that's available in Sweden.

Omorovicza Omoressence

I wanted to hate this because of the cost. A super-watery essence that you pat in, before serum. The latter absorbs sooner when applied after this.
Repurchase? Erm. If I come into big money.
Buy it here.

Zelens Youth Concentrate Supreme Age Defying Serum

There was barely enough to cover half my face - I'll have to try a bigger sample of this to see how I liked it.
Repurchase? I have no idea.
Buy it here.

Lancer The Method Polish

I used this scrub on my legs, to get rid of reptilian fish scales. It helped. Who else tends to be very lax about their legs in phases, and then sit up one day and try to undo the damage?
Repurchase? Nope.
Buy it here.

Bath & body:

Dove Go Fresh Revitalise Body Wash

Citrus always wakes me up in the shower, and is my preferred morning fragrance in the bathroom. A nice, gentle, zesty thing.
Repurchase? Plenty more fish in the sea.

Beauty products used up in April 2017Kai Body Lotion sample

Used up while travelling. Barely covered a leg, though I enjoyed the feel of the product.
Repurchase? Indecisive.

Hair:

Label.M Protein Spray

I prefer sprays to leave-in serums, creams or lotions, post-washing. This one did alright with softening my steel-wire hair post-wash.
Repurchase? Naw.
Buy it here.

Miriam Quevedo Glacial White Caviar Rescue Masque

This came with a shampoo - I think it was a GWP from somewhere. It felt hydrating and rich.
Repurchase? I think I'll save up for my beloved Christophe Robin Prickly Pear mask.
Buy it here.

Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask

I used this for CO-washing while travelling. Did the job well enough, with ample "slippage". I've got a few more sample tubes left.
Repurchase? Not immediately.
Buy it here.

Neal's Yard Remedies Nurturing Rose Shampoo

Not my favourite, to be honest. It dried my hair out and felt a bit harsh.
Repurchase? 'Course not.

Makeup:

NARS Audacious Mascara

This, Benefit Roller Lash, and Too Faced BTS are my back-up mascaras if ever Lancome stops the Hypnose range. Really good stuff; makes my peach fuzz look rather like human, if sparse, lashes. Blame my sparse-lashed parents for marrying each other.
Repurchase? I only buy or "acquire" mini mascaras now. Less wastage that way.
Buy it here.

Charlotte Tilbury Take It All Off Genius Eye Makeup Remover

I was looking for something that could replace Lancome Bi-Facil in my life. This one does the job beautifully - even waterproof mascara - but it does sting a bit when it gets in my eyes.
Repurchase? Maybe during a sale.
