Vegan Cuts Beauty Box May 2016

A 100% cruelty-free and vegan beauty subscription that ships worldwide, Vegan Cuts has been on my must-try list for a while now. I have particularly loved their special assorted beauty kits - see my review of the Vegan Cuts Essentials Box here. Their Summertime Adventures Beauty Box is on sale for just $23 - see contents here`. Monthly boxes cost $22.95, with long-term subscriptions costing less per box.
The May 2016 box (PR sample) is Summer-special, curated to keep you feeling "sweet in the heat". There are five products in the box, of which three are full-sized.

Everclen Facial Toner for sensitive skin - full-sized, $15

Oooh, excellent. Since December, I have been using toners regularly. Plus, I prefer my face products in mist form especially when I have painful acne. That this is fragrance-free is the icing on the cake.

Terre Mere Cosmetics Contouring Brush - full-sized, $34

A soft brush that will go nicely with the bronzer included in this box. Any beauty box with a full-sized makeup brush is a winner in my book.

Medusa's Makeup Bronzer - full-sized $12

It was only yesterday that I was thinking I hadn't bought any new bronzers this year and voila! Medusa is a brand I first came across through the erstwhile Lip Factory boxes. Good to get a bronzer from them. Some people got a lipstick in their boxes but the shade seems to be red, so I would rather get a bronzer than a lippie I wouldn't wear. This bronzer swatches lighter than it looks and has very mild shimmer.

The Granola Goat Face Serum

Red raspberry seed oil and seabuckthorn berry oil are the main ingredients in this nourishing serum. I haven't heard of this brand before - it seems to be an Etsy exclusive. Always good to discover new brands, and anything that promises to fight inflammation sounds good to me.

Molly Rose Balms Grapefruit Basil Body Scrub

I haven't opened the little tub containing this body scrub, but the contents seem to have solidified a bit. It smells great. Will try out over the weekend.

Verdict and where to subscribe

Love the product selection - I can use everything in here. There are essentials, such as the face mist, and l'il treats, like the brush and the bronzer. Three full-sized products including one makeup brush is very good indeed. I love that all of these are vegan and cruelty-free. This is one of the nicest beauty boxes I have seen in a while - and I've tried about 20 now. And the bronzer is just lovely.
Boxes cost $22.95 each; you can go here to subscribe. They also have their special collections - the Summertime Adventures Beauty Box is just $23 and is chockablock with goodies - go here to check out the contents. Use code MAYBEAUTY for $10 off orders of $50 and above; expires on June 30.
