LookFantastic Beauty Box July 2016

LookFantastic's July 2016 Beauty Box is themed #LFSummerLovin'. The pink, orange and gold design of the box captures the theme perfectly. The box also includes this month's copy of Elle UK magazine. Since the spoilers had promised makeup, hair and skin care products for the Summer, I had expected yet another Tanworks tube.

Benefit Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil

I received shade 6, which is a perfect match for me. While I'm not the biggest Benefit fan out there - except for Gimme Brow and Porefessional - I'm delighted that LookFantastic is including very recent launches rather than some old stock that was released a decade ago and never sold. I'll tell you how I get on with this. 

This Works In Transit Camera Close-Up

Apparently this is one of Victoria Beckham's favourite products. It can be used as mask, moisturiser and primer. It contains hyaluronic acid and starflower oils. Multi-tasking products are especially suited for travel, so this goes into my travel bag.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Or Dry Oil

Another cult favourite. They've included the shimmery version because of the Summer theme. This multi-purpose oil contains sweet almond, camellia, hazelnut, macadamia, borage and St John's Wort oils, and Vitamin E.

Kebelo Silk Anti-Frizz Cream Serum

I have inherited frizzy hair that will answer to nothing, not even ceramic re-bonding. Living in a city where average humidity is 84% - I kid you not - does not help. So anything with "anti-frizz" in the name gives me hope. This contains quinoa, amaranth, chamomile, argan and jojoba oils. Will give it a whirl over the weekend - fingers crossed. 

Bellapierre Lip and Cheek Stain

As a rule, I use lip and cheek stains as lip products. Something rather icky about applying a lip product on the cheeks, know what I mean? This is a very pretty pink shade, but I suspect it will be a tad too pale for me. Into my giveaway box it goes.

Miti Bobbles

Have you seen my review of the Invisibobble coil hair ties here? I love these things. This seems to be a different brand, but the concept and product are the same. I can never have too many coil hair ties, so bring it on.

Verdict and where to subscribe

Easily one of the best boxes I've had from LookFantastic. Two makeup products, two hair care products, and two skincare products is a fair division. When you receive brands such as Nuxe, This Works and Benefit in one box, and one of the products is a multi-tasker, there isn't much to complain about. Especially when one of the products is a very recent launch.
