Skincare With Benton Snail Bee High Content Skin, Essence, Lotion and Steam Cream

After all the Holiday excesses and sleepless nights, it is time to heal and rejuvenate the skin. I have been using Benton's Snail Bee High Content range - firstly, it contains neither dead snails, mucus/bogey, urine nor crushed bees. The "snail mucin" in question is the lubricant that the gastropods secret from their legs as they glide around. I have a scary story about snails further below.
My other favourite Korean brands, Mizon and CosRx, have provided documentation saying they do not harm the snails while collecting the lubricant. Benton say they have been certified cruelty-free.
Although I had heard a lot about Benton, I was put off by some mentions of the smell - it was supposed to smell like something I won't mention here - because you are going to puke and then call me names afterwards. To add to my apprehensions, I had heard horror stories about product contamination about two years ago. But I received a couple of samples and opened them - there was no smell! Neither pleasant, nor unpleasant. I bought the lot pronto in November, and here are my thoughts.

As I was leaving on holiday, it was touch and go with the December 2013 Lip Factory Box, but it arrived just in time! Anyway, there was quite a lot of buzz surrounding the "Happy Holidays" edition of the Lip Factory Box, with rumours of extra-special products and brands! The November 2013 Lip Factory Box was an all-lips box and you can see from my post that it was an absolute knock-out. I was very excited about the December box when I heard it was even better than the November box!
Lip Factory is a US-based beauty box but they ship worldwide - it costs $32 for the box and international postage. I used up eight full-sized products in October and two samples - 10 in all. Four of them were sheet or packet masks/patches. Nor did I get around finishing up any makeup products. Here's what I've run through:
1. The Body Shop Moringa Body Butter: I love The Body Shop body butters and if I had a favourite, it would be Moringa for the mild fragrance and the quick absorption rate. I have too many body butters to finish, though, and will keep trying new ones.

If you read my previous post on the Lip Factory Box here, you'll know my June box got lost in the post and the lovely ladies there sent a replacement which arrived in August. I missed out on the July and August boxes as a result and paid for the September box last week. They sent me the tracking info, which said "departed USPS sort facility in Florida" on September 14 - naturally, I didn't expect it for another two weeks and forgot its existence. I got the shock of my life when I received the September box today - five days flat after they posted it! How DID they do that, teleporter? Or did they bring the Concorde out of retirement?
