Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara review and photos

Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara review and photos
I do not curl my eyelashes. For starters, my lashes are short, fine and stubby. Non-existent. I've owned a curler since late teenage. I got the skin of my eyelid into the curler once and.... it was a mercy it ended that well.
Normally, when I do wear mascara, my lashes look like other people's do, without mascara. I've been searching for the Holy Grail mascara forever and mostly use Max Factor Masterpiece or Bourjois Rotating mascara. But the SA at Lancome pretty much sold me on Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara so I decided to buy one.

Here is my review and before and after photos of the Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara.

The formula isn't gloopy or stinky and I could get very good coverage in one coat. I could definitely see a difference in lash length and thickness. Perhaps where the claim falls short is in the mascara's curling powers. It did open my eyes up, but the huge difference noted in length and volume wasn't there in the curling effect. I didn't feel very comfy applying it on the lower lashes, though. Not that I seem to have any lower lashes.
Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes lasted all day without smudging or flaking, despite sweating it out, and came away with a drop of Bifacil make-up remover. The applicator picks up a good deal of the product and does its job well in reaching the corners.
See the before and after pictures! I'm really pleased with these results, and application is easy (wiggle, don't just draw the wand). So I do have eyelashes!
