I am absolutely loving orange eyeshadow right now. And orange nail polish, orange blush and, orange lipstick/tint. Orange anything - except for clothing; I'll stick to my sombre, deeper, older-looking colours, thank you!
Here is an orange eye makeup look with the Sleek Sunset eyeshadow palette.
For those who have not seen the Sleek Sunset palette before, here it is. The shades do not have names, though. I picked the bright orange shade for the lid, and the one immediately to its left for the crease. I used a very light hand for the crease as I wanted the orange to be the statement colour in this look, and did not want to overwhelm it with a deep, smoky shade. I did not use a highlighter or inner-corner shade from this palette, but picked the Teeez Trendy single eyeshadow in Beautiful Day, which I received in my January Lip Factory Box.
I love the Too Faced 3-way Lash Lining Tool, used as eyeliner here, which I will review in detail soon. This look was finished with the Teeez Trendy Desert Metals Mascara in Midnight Sky on the lashes, and Benefit Gimme Brow on the eyebrows. All photographs are in natural light.
As I have really dark eyes, I prefer this sort of shade to neutrals. What do you think of this look?
