EOTD: Olive green smoky eye makeup look with Sephora Blockbuster

EOTD: Olive green smoky eye makeup look with Sephora BlockbusterOne of the best makeup shopping decisions I ever made was to buy the Sephora Makeup Academy Palette 2013, also known as the Blockbuster. I will review it in detail soon, but I have to tell you here and now that I can't live without it. Whenever I need a tricky shade, or just a very good quality eyeshadow, this is the palette I reach for now.
I have done this look using products from just the Blockbuster palette, including concealer, highlighter, shadow primer and shadow - everything except for eyeliner and mascara, because I am too much in love with my HG eyeliner and because the Blockbuster comes without mascara.

Here is the olive green smoky eye makeup look with the Sephora Blockbuster palette.

These are the eyeshadows, concealer and eyeprimer (to the right) I used - a little bit of the pan in the top right hand corner to darken out the outer V and the olive green (second from left) in the bottom row all over the lid. Then, I used the matte greyish shadow next to it on the crease. I used pale beige eyeshadow (not in picture) on the browbone.

I liked the concealer, but the eye primer was a little too sticky and greasy for my liking. It also creases a bit. Got to love the eyeshadows, though!

I applied the Bourjois Erasable Eyeliner on the upper lid and Lancome Crayon Khol in 01 Noir on the lower lashline, before finishing off with the Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes mascara. And there's Benefit Gimme Brow on the eyebrows.
