Beauty Expert's latest edit is their best ever! ONE product in here is far more than the worth of the entire collection, and has me gobsmacked. Everything about each of these brands screams LUXURY, and everything is ideal for this season.
For those who came in late, Beauty Expert ships worldwide - they have seasonal curations of cult must-have beauty products in "collections", in a nice wash bag. Everything is full-sized, and the collections are worth far more than their price-tags, and sell out within seconds, if not minutes, of launching. International beauty retailer Beauty Expert - part of the same group that owns LookFantastic - comes out with seasonal beauty collections that are always thoughtfully curated, and contain full-sized luxury products.
You can see their Indulgence Collection here, the Radiance Collection here, the inaugural Rose Edition, here, and the Expert Collection, here. 
The latest curation is the new Spa Edition, containing six full-sized products from luxury brands, with a total worth of £229, though the cost price of the set is just £70.

This is a very exciting beauty box. LookFantastic has collaborated with Hungarian skincare brand Omorovicza to bring out an exclusive, luxurious beauty box this Autumn. The box is worth £209.30, and costs £79. It contains six products, of which three are full-sized.
I'm a huge fan of the Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm - my favourite balm cleanser - and the incredibly luxurious and refreshing Queen of Hungary Mist (they should make this a perfume and sell it. Mmmmmm!), so I'm very excited about this box. The price point of Omorovicza products is the one thing I'm not a fan of, so this box means we can get a few goodies at a bargain price!
ONE item alone in this box costs as much as the box itself. And, extremely limited numbers are available!

The April 2017 beauty box from LookFantastic is themed Natural Beauty - no, it does not mean natural products, but includes products which impart a natural, healthy look. I expected a light foundation in there and I was right.
The external box is very Spring-themed. As usual, it comes with the Elle UK magazine, as well as the LF Beauty Box magazine. April being my birthday month, I hoped that this box would not contain fake tan or vitamin pills. Was I granted my wish? Find out below.

When the seasons change, brands and retailers come out with GWPs and freebie offers, and I'm an unashamed sucker for gifts with purchase.
This year's Autumn offering from UK-based beauty retailer Cult Beauty had two versions. The VIP version included four extra deluxe products, including a full-sized Tata Harper cleanser. The regular version carried 14 products.

Do you use flannel or muslin cloths to wash your face and remove makeup? I do now. Until December, I used the same towel to dry my hands and face, and admit to having used even turbie twists for drying my face at a pinch. Which, according to my derm when I consulted her over a horrible breakout, is as bad as using the same pillowcase for weeks on end. Lesson learnt, I now have separate wash cloths for the face, and change the cloth after every cleanse.
Using wash cloths for cleansing your face is not only a luxurious, pampering step in your routine, but it also improves circulation, provides gentle exfoliation and leaves your face squeaky-clean and 100% makeup-free without resorting to harsh cleansers or specialised makeup removers. Ideal facial cloths are flannel, though I use muslin if I am using an exfoliating or resurfacing cleanser or following with a peel. Ever invested in expensive skincare, only to find that the product does not work for you, or worse, breaks you out? I bought two bottles of Lancome Visionnaire as soon as it came out, after all the hype about the international waiting list. Wham - my face was an explosion in a fireworks factory. Luckily for me, I was able to palm them off on my Mum who was not affected adversely by the product.
Most brands do not give out samples these days unless you buy something from their counters first, which means you try-when-you-buy instead of try-before-you-buy.
Fortunately, several brands now offer discovery kits with trial sizes of their key products, so you can actually go through a whole routine for a couple of days, before deciding to invest further. Plus, these are ideal for travel.
