Lip Factory Box replacement May 2014 unboxing

Lip Factory May 2014 replacement beauty box unboxing
A US-based beauty box that ships internationally, Lip Factory is makeup-centric and comes with at least five full-sized products per box. I have been subbing since June 2013 and have received some amazing boxes, as you can see here. The best part is that you can customise your profile according to colours you want, and they generally try to follow it.
The last two months' boxes from Lip Factory were disappointing. I had damaged eyeshadow, a lipstick with a fungal infection, colours and products that were the opposite of my profile... a replacement for April 2014 was promised, but did not turn up. So when I showed them the damaged products from May 2014, their amazing customer care sent me a whole replacement box with some additions to make up for the disappointment. Here is what I received:

MeMeMe Cosmetics Blush Me in Coral

This coral blush with mild shimmer is perfect for me, giving me just the right warm glow on my face. I would call it one of the better blushes in my (growing) stash. And, I love the packaging. Very reminiscent of Benefit powders and blushes. Incidentally, this is my first MeMeMe blush. They had sent me a pale pink blush last month despite my profile insisting that pink blush and I would not get along and I could only use peach or coral.

Pari Beauty lipstick in Guilty

Last month's Pari lipstick came in with a fungal infection (sorry if I made you puke) and had to be binned. This replacement is a nice neutral peachy-brown with just the right amount of shimmer. The formula is creamy and non-drying and super-easy to glide on. I will do a detailed swatch and review for you, since I am in love with this shade.

Ofra lipstick in 107

A summery fuchsia lipstick with red undertones, this is another great shade that Lip Factory has chosen for me. The previous Ofra lipstick they had sent to me was the vampiest dark berry, something that I would not use at all; worse, it was very dry with unsightly marks. Am I delighted with the replacement, though!

Medusa's Makeup eyeshadow in Tarzan

I am a huge fan of cruelty-free brand Medusa's Makeup. My eyeshadow in the May box had come in smashed to smithereens, so I am glad to get a replacement. Tarzan is a very pretty lid shade for a shimmery neutral eye.

Teeez Trendy Cosmetics eyeliner

I had received a Teeez eyeliner before, in the February box, I think. But that was purple; this is black. I'm not sure why this was sent in the replacement box. Either way, who does not love Teeez? This will definitely come in use as you can never have too many black eyeliners, especially if you are constantly misplacing them.

29 Preserves Skin Care Collection Sampler

This skin care sampler set from 29 Cosmetics contains a cream cleanser, a serum extract, an eye emulsion and a night moisture. I have received this before and actually just finished using one set. I am glad to have the opportunity to try out that eye serum and the cream cleanser further. 29 Cosmetics contain grape seed extracts for anti-ageing. Watch out for my June empties post for further thoughts on these. Lip Factory has certainly gone out of their way to make up for the damaged products by slipping in a few bonuses.

NCLA Nail Wraps

Ah, now these are really cute. I disliked the yellow mess that was sent to me in the May box and passed them on to the neighbour. These are summery and kind of tribal. I will show you what they look like in a future mani, once my nubs grow out a little. Right now, they seem intent on becoming nubbier :(

Summary
I call this one of Lip Factory's best efforts, and the customer care remains amazing. In fact, this box has safely prevented me from buying the newest Memeboxes which came out this week. I only hope future boxes will be equally good. I love the colours they chose here and can use everything. The lippie is a daily staple already. I really appreciate that they went out of their way to make up for those damaged products by adding a few extras.
Lip Factory is available for $32 a month worldwide including shipping, and $22 within the US. To subscribe, go here. You can use my referral code 385650 for 50 extra points which can be redeemed against products or boxes. A little bird tells me the June box includes Girlactik Beauty products!
Disclaimer: I pay for my subscription. This is a replacement box after I received damaged and wrong products. Not a PR sample sent for review.
