Lip Factory All-Lips Box review, unboxing

Lip Factory All-Lips Box review, unboxing

Lip Factory sent out my November and December 2014 boxes together, which is why this post is a tad late. Every four months, they do an all-lips box, containing only lip-products. I love these; they are a great way of adding new lippies to your stash.
For those who came in late, Lip Factory is a monthly makeup-only beauty box that ships worldwide. The products are all full-sized, and you can customise what you receive to some extent. It is my favourite makeup subscription and I have discovered some beautiful products, thanks to them. And, because the products are full-sized, the value is great.

Here is the Lip Factory All-Lips beauty box for November 2014.

Lip Factory Box October 2014 review, unboxing

Lip Factory Box October 2014 review, unboxing
October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Lip Factory themed their beauty box accordingly, titling it "You Are Beautiful". They had warned subscribers of a delay, saying they had been expecting a makeup bag which was late. I thought the bag would not be included this month, but maybe in November, along with the all-lips box. However....
Before I show you the product card, the makeup bag or the other goodies I received, a word for those who came in late - Lip Factory is a monthly makeup subscription that ships worldwide. They send out full-sized products and allow customisation of colours. Boxes cost $22 a month if you are in the US and $32 worldwide. If you are subscribing, do quote reference number 385650 so we get 50 points apiece, which can be redeemed against products or boxes. Enough intro. On to the box.

Read on for my review and unboxing of the Lip Factory box for October 2014.

Lip Factory September 2014 review, unboxing

Lip Factory September 2014 beauty box review, unboxing
Themed "Autumn Arrives", the September 2014 Lip Factory beauty box is quite early in my mailbox - I had been receiving the previous couple of boxes by the end of the month or even in the first week of the following month. For those new here, Lip Factory is a Florida-based makeup subscription box that ships out monthly. You get five or six FULL-sized makeup products, which is why this box is such a win. It costs $22 a month within the US and $32 worldwide, but that is around $5.30-6.40 per product, which is not a bad deal at all. To subscribe, hit their website and do quote my reference number 385650 to get 50 points, which you can later redeem for products or a box!

Lip Factory August 2014 review, unboxing

Lip Factory August 2014 beauty box review, unboxing
Amid all the beauty boxes from Asia, I am also a Lip Factory subscriber. For first-time visitors, Lip Factory is a US-based makeup subscription box that ships worldwide. You get five or six full-sized makeup products each month. The operative word here is full-sized. Every three or four months, they do an all-lips box, featuring lip makeup alone. The subscription costs $22 a month within the US, with an extra $10 for worldwide addresses. To order, go to lipfactoryinc.com. Make sure you quote my referral code 385650 for 50 points apiece, which you can redeem against products or boxes.
I cannot find a theme for the August 2014 box. Usually, this is printed somewhere or the product card. The September box, on the other hand, is Fall-themed, from spoilers.

Here is my review and unboxing of the Lip Factory August 2014 beauty box.

Lip Factory Box July 2014 unboxing, review

Lip Factory July 2014 beauty box review, unboxing, swatches
The reason I am posting the July 2014 Lip Factory beauty box in August 2014 is that it arrived on the last day of July and then I went a-travelling.
Lip Factory July 2014 beauty box review, unboxing, swatches
Lip Factory is a US-based makeup-centric beauty box that sends out full-sized products, no samples. There is a very high level of customisation possible, and the customer care is amazing. I mean it. I have been emailing Memebox for more than a month now over a missing box and nothing has come out of it. Email Lip Factory once and you get your problems, if any, solved.
To order, go to lipfactoryinc.com. Make sure you quote my referral code 385650 for 50 points apiece, which you can redeem against products or boxes.
Last month, they had sent out Girlactik Beauty products, as you can see here. July 2014 is Lip Factory's second anniversary month, so I expected another brilliant box. Were my expectations met? Read on.

Here is my review and unboxing of the July 2014 Lip Factory beauty box.

Lip Factory Box June 2014 review, unboxing

Lip Factory June 2014 beauty box review, unboxing
There is nothing like the feeling of relief you get when the packages you were expecting turn up a day before you travel. I have had a fair number of packages turn up over the last three or four business days, and will be reviewing the products in due course.
I cannot find a theme for the June 2014 Lip Factory Box - normally, the theme is printed on the product card. Next month, however, is their anniversary special box, so that ought to be something to look forward to. By law of averages, it should be the all-lips box, but I don't think they will do the all-lips during the anniversary month, since they did not combine the two last year.
Be that as it may, Lip Factory is a makeup-centric beauty box that ships worldwide. They are best-known for brilliant customer care and a greater degree of customisation than many other beauty boxes. Read on for more details.

Here is my unboxing and review of the June 2014 Lip Factory beauty box.

Lip Factory Box replacement May 2014 unboxing

Lip Factory May 2014 replacement beauty box unboxing
A US-based beauty box that ships internationally, Lip Factory is makeup-centric and comes with at least five full-sized products per box. I have been subbing since June 2013 and have received some amazing boxes, as you can see here. The best part is that you can customise your profile according to colours you want, and they generally try to follow it.
The last two months' boxes from Lip Factory were disappointing. I had damaged eyeshadow, a lipstick with a fungal infection, colours and products that were the opposite of my profile... a replacement for April 2014 was promised, but did not turn up. So when I showed them the damaged products from May 2014, their amazing customer care sent me a whole replacement box with some additions to make up for the disappointment. Here is what I received:

Lip Factory Box May 2014 review, unboxing

Lip Factory May 2014 beauty box review, unboxing
There is no doubt at all that the generously-packed Memebox has spoilt me thoroughly and increased my expectations from other beauty boxes. But, even if you take Memebox out of the equation, there are beauty boxes that I used to love, which had a very decent standard. Then, a few boxes down the line, they became downright disappointing. Glamabox was the first to go down that route, sending slimming "wraps", Cetaphil and chocolate before I decided to cut my losses and run. The next to bite the dust was A Beautiful World, who sent a tea bag and 5ml pots for 32 quid. And now, it is Lip Factory's turn, after a marvellous six-month run, where I had declared each month's box their best-ever. All I can say is, I hope they pick up next month, and I hope Memebox remains consistent forever. Read on to know why this tirade.

Here is my unboxing and review of the May 2014 Lip Factory beauty box.

Lip Factory box April 2014 unboxing

Lip Factory beauty box April 2014 unboxing, review
Lip Factory beauty box April 2014 unboxing, reviewLip Factory is a US-based makeup-only monthly beauty box that ships worldwide. To subscribe, please use the reference number 385650 to get 50 points (which you can redeem against boxes or products later) and hit lipfactoryinc.com. I have been a subscriber since June 2013 and have received some absolute gems in my previous Lip Factory boxes (click here to view them all).
Now for the April 2014 box. The theme is "Lip Factory Welcomes Spring". You've got to love the artwork on all their product cards. I keep them all and use them as bookmarks after a little tweaking. The Easter break meant that my box was just a little later than usual. This month's box has a total value of $55.99.

Lip Factory February 2014 unboxing, review, contents: International Beauty Box

Lip Factory February 2014 unboxing, review, contents: International Beauty BoxThe February 2014 Lip Factory Box is the best they have sent out so far. I know I say this each month. For sheer consistency, value for money, customer care and range, this is my favourite beauty box.
Lip Factory is a US-based makeup-centric beauty box that ships worldwide. You get full-sized makeup products and maybe a sample or two and the value always exceeds the $22 that the box costs ($32 if you're outside the US). They bring in some amazing brands and, every four months, there is an all-lips box. To subscribe, hit their website here. Do mention my reference number 384919 and we'll both get 50 points apiece (can be redeemed for products or boxes).

Lip Factory Box January 2014 review, unboxing, photos: International beauty box
How do I love thee, Lip Factory? Let me count the ways. Of all the beauty boxes that ship worldwide, this is one box where every month, you declare that this month's box is the best of them all. I was a little worried about the January 2014 New Year box, as I usually get my box by mid-month, but international shipping can be tricky.

Lip Factory Box December 2013 review, unboxing and photos: International beauty box

Lip Factory Box December 2013 review, unboxing and photos: International beauty box
Lip Factory Box December 2013 review, unboxing and photos: International beauty boxAs I was leaving on holiday, it was touch and go with the December 2013 Lip Factory Box, but it arrived just in time! Anyway, there was quite a lot of buzz surrounding the "Happy Holidays" edition of the Lip Factory Box, with rumours of extra-special products and brands! The November 2013 Lip Factory Box was an all-lips box and you can see from my post that it was an absolute knock-out. I was very excited about the December box when I heard it was even better than the November box!
Lip Factory is a US-based beauty box but they ship worldwide - it costs $32 for the box and international postage. You get at least five full-size exclusive makeup goodies inside - not drugstore products. Full size, mind you. To subscribe, hit their website here. Do mention my reference number 384919 and we'll both get 50 points apiece (used to redeem for products or boxes).

Befine Food Skincare Warming Clay Face Mask review, use and results

Befine Warming Clay Face Mask review, usage and results
I got the Befine Food Skin Care Warming Clay Mask in my October Lip Factory box (see here). Having tried the Befine Exfoliating Cleanser in the June Lip Factory box and loved it, I decided to "de-sachet" the mask pachette. Although it said "single serve" on the packet, I got enough for four full uses out of the mask after emptying the lot into a Lush sample pot. And, it became my favourite face mask. It is suitable for all skin types - I have oily skin and find this mask suitable for me.
Befine Fine Food Skin Care is a New Jersey-based company that specialises in natural skin care products made out of food/edible ingredients. What's not to love? Their products are paraben-free, vegetarian protein-based and contain allergen-free fragrance.

Lip Factory November 2013 all-lips beauty box review, unboxing, photos
Lip Factory November 2013 all-lips beauty box review, unboxing, photosThe November 2013 box is exactly why Lip Factory is my international beauty box. Every four months, they do an all-lips box. They do NOT carry drugstore brands. They send six full-size exclusive makeup products every month. No samples. No sachets. What's not to like?

October 2013 Lip Factory review, unboxing, photos: International beauty box

Do I love the Lip Factory customer care or what! I told them I hate lip gloss and they've magnificently replaced the glosses for this month with two awesome products. But I'm getting ahead of myself.
Most subscription boxes arrive by the end of the month, or into the next month - even the local ones. I love how the Lip Factory Box arrives by mid-month, around the same time the US customers get theirs. Of course, I look for spoilers anyway! And, from September 2013, a percentage of the revenue from every box will be donated by Lip Factory to the Compassionate Hands and Hearts Breast Cancer Outreach. To subscribe, hit their website (make-up centric beauty box with no foil sachets or samples but around six full-size products). Do mention my reference number 384919 and we'll both get 50 points apiece (used to redeem for products or boxes).

International beauty box: My September 2013 Lip Factory Box

If you read my previous post on the Lip Factory Box here, you'll know my June box got lost in the post and the lovely ladies there sent a replacement which arrived in August. I missed out on the July and August boxes as a result and paid for the September box last week. They sent me the tracking info, which said "departed USPS sort facility in Florida" on September 14 - naturally, I didn't expect it for another two weeks and forgot its existence. I got the shock of my life when I received the September box today - five days flat after they posted it! How DID they do that, teleporter? Or did they bring the Concorde out of retirement?
Even the local subscription boxes turn up by the fag end of the month or even in the first week of the following month, while this comes by mid-month, from halfway around the world. To subscribe, all you have to do is visit the Lip Factory website, give them your details and quote my reference number 384919 (you get 50 redeemable points and a bonus).

International beauty box: Lip Factory Box review, unboxing, photos

Lip Factory was the first international beauty box I "discovered", thanks to Jac. This is no mere sampling programme - for $32 including international postage, you get six full-sized products according to your profile. As the name says, every four months, the box will be lip-centric. Otherwise, you can expect a lippy or two and a nail polish and an eye item in almost every box. Because everything is full-sized, this is really good value for money ($5.50 or so per product is darn cheap, currency fluctuations notwithstanding). To subscribe, quote my reference number 384919 and quote Renu of My Beauty Junction and we'll have some fun!
