The April 2015 Lip Love beauty bag from So Susan Cosmetics is their best effort so far! It contains less lip-love than other months but the products are all amazing.
For those who came in late, the Lip Love beauty bag is a cruelty-free makeup subscription from UK-based So Susan Cosmetics. Each bag costs $20.95 and they ship worldwide. You are sent a preview of each month's bag and you can sit a month out if you don't like what you see. All products are full-sized and there will be about four or five products each month. Go here to subscribe.

This month's bag is as cute as ever and features a quote from Henri Matisse. The theme is "I love flowers in Spring."

The Jelly Pong Pong Caribbean Sun duo is gorgeous and perfect for the Summer - it says bronzer duo but one of the shades is so peachy that it has to be a blush. This is a great choice for travelling. I have swatches of all products for you at the end of this post.

The 8-hour Cheek Stain is pink; I am a peach-blush person. I know someone who will love this. I wish I had received a peachy colour because this is the first blush I'm getting in this packaging and I love it.

The Wonderlight duo contains a luminiser/highlighter end and a "brightening base" end. The latter is a stick concealer which is yellow enough to look decent on my skintone. I'm hooked by So Susan's concealers and hope to see more in future beauty bags!

Colour Hybrid is a long-lasting, non-drying deep fuchsia lip colour. It dries creamy matte and Stays. On. Seriously. The pigmentation is 100% opaque. I *know* where this tube is going if my Mum sees this post. You need a brush to apply it from the tube, but fingers work just as well.
The formula is mousse-like, lightweight and glides on so smoothly that I want a dozen lip mousses. Wait till you see the swatch below!

The hair grips are fun and will go out to my niece as soon as I see her. She wanted to go out to a movie with me and ended up sobbing in the cinema because there was some shooting on screen. Poor thing. I hope she enjoys every second of her childhood.

Taken under artificial neon light because I don't have a life during daylight these days. Sorry!

Verdict

This is the best Lip Love beauty bag I have received from So Susan Cosmetics so far. I love that there is a mix of non-lip products despite the obvious moniker, since I am a bit lipsticked-out right now. The products are all great and work well for me. The Colour Hybrid lip colour is fabulous and I am in love with that mousse feel and the long-wearing formula. I would love to see different shades of this product, as well as the cheek stain. I would also love to see the bags in different colours. I wonder what the May bag will be like, since they haven't sent out previews yet.
To subscribe, go here - you can skip a month anytime you like, so there isn't a cut-and-dried contract.
You can use discount code R8BOkHTT - not that the bag breaks the bank at $20.95 - and they ship worldwide.
