Beauty Products Emptied in March 2016

T.S. Eliot's opinion notwithstanding, my favourite month has begun. Too bad there are only 30 days.
In March, I got back to a somewhat decent facial care routine. Gentle cleansing, acid and hydration toning, serum, facial oil, moisturiser and spot treatment daily; clay masks every week. There is still pigmentation after the infection, though it is fading. Just two breakouts. Baby steps.

Scroll down to check out the beauty products I emptied in March 2016 and my quick thoughts on each.

Here are the beauty products I emptied in March 2016 and my quick thoughts on each.

Face products

CB Marine Collagen Cream

I wanted to apply this as a neck cream. It had come in my QVC Advent calendar in December. Sadly, the product solidified in the jar after TWO uses. And yes, I closed the pot properly. How can it do that when they sent it out only in December?
Repurchase? No way!

Vichy Thermal Spa Water

I have been a face mist addict since December, when spray-ons became the only way of moisturising my swollen face. I wouldn't call this the best mist ever. I mean, you now get more hydrating mists with natural fragrance and even anti-acne benefits, whereas this is just water.
Repurchase? No, there are far better mists out there. I swear by Black Chicken Remedies Hydrate My Face and May Lindstrom Jasmine Garden.

Thayer's Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel Rose Petal Toner

Best non-acid toner on earth. Beautifully hydrating and gentle, I use this as a second toner after acid toning in the evenings or anti-acne toning in the mornings. My derm swears by this stuff. I know there is a school of thought against witch-hazel but it works for me.
Repurchase? I have three large bottles and will buy once I run out.

Oskia Get Up And Glow serum

I am SO addicted to Oskia products. This came as a sample with a Cult Beauty order. LOVED it all three times I used it.
Repurchase? One day. On a shopping ban at the mo' after buying Oskia's Renaissance Gel, Renaissance Mask and other things from CB.
Buy it here.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O

HG micellar water. This came in my Beautylish Lucky Bag. Love the stuff.
Repurchase? Bought a 500ml bottle from Dubai airport (and they let me take that much liquid on board). Should see me through a few months.

Sephora Express Eye Makeup Remover Wipe

One wipe does both eyes for me. This is a great way of getting makeup off the eyes while travelling. I used this on a sojourn at Gramps's.
Repurchase? Dunno. Will think about it after I run out, since I have a box of the stuff.

CosRx Acne Pimple Master Patch

Lovely hydrocolloidal plasters that you apply over a ruptured/broken/lanced/squeezed (NEVER over non-ruptured) pimple. In the morning, all the gunk would have come out and you pull off the gunk-and-plaster, cleanse, dry and live life as usual.
Repurchase? Oh yes! I have some 10 packets.
Buy it here.

Skinfood Trouble Clear Spot Patch

Sorry, I prefer the CosRx patches. The Skinfood ones don't get as much gunk out. Nor do they adhere as well to moisturised skin.
Repurchase? No.

Bath and body and hair products

Soap & Glory Heel Genius

My favourite foot cream during dry weather. Only gripe is, the product is hard to squeeze out once you near the end of the tube, unless you chop the tube to bits.
Repurchase? Not during warmer weather.

O'Right Tea Tree Conditioner

My scalp flaked up with all the antibiotics, so I used this conditioner to CO-wash, and two washes eradicated the flakes.
Repurchase? Yes! Works beautifully gently.
Buy it here.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula

If they had a chocolate exactly like this, I would buy regardless of the harm sugar does to my skin.
Repurchase? Not during warmer weather.

Korres Guava Shower Gel

Used while on a break at Gramps's. Nice tropical fruity scent. Prefer Molton Brown, though.
Repurchase? Nice, but I'm a Molton Brown loyalist.
Buy it here.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Intensive Masque

There wasn't enough to cover my hip-length hair in the sachet. What little I used looked rich and nourishing. Will have to try more before I decide whether I like this or not.
Repurchase? Not now.
