Becca Ombre Rouge Eyeshadow Palette Review, Swatches, EOTD

I received the Becca Ombre Rouge Eyeshadow Palette in the Beautylish Lucky Bag 2015, reviewed here. Seriously, that bag was epic. Everything was full-sized and amazing. Do it again soon, Beautylish. I will buy!
Becca Ombre Rouge Eyeshadow Palette is one of the softest neutral palettes I own. It is also my favourite weekend getaway palette at the mo'. Take a closer look.

The compact but stylish packaging makes this palette ideal for travel. A quick weekend, that is. I would need more eyeshadows for longer trips.
This is also intended to "contour and sculpt" the eyelids, and Becca says the shades can be used to contour the face and as brow powders, but I only use these as eyeshadows.

Formula, pigmentation and staying power of Becca Ombre Rouge Eyeshadow Palette

All the five eyeshadows are matte, soft enough and easy to blend, and don't kick up as much fallout as I expected - there is some powdering from the pans, but there are mattes out there which powder up far more. Minimal while applying and blending.
The shades are warm, ruddy/rosy and soft - from "pale apricot" to "burnt amber". There are no shade names. No creasing or fading noted, and the look stays on through the day until I take it off - but I always apply eye primer. I have no complaints at all about these eyeshadows.

Bare skin, natural light. I'm loving how soft these neutrals are.

Verdict and where to buy

You get some very pretty neutrals in here - these are ideal for everyday looks. If you are a fan of the rosy, ruddy and peachy neutrals in the Lancome [Auda]City in Paris Palette (reviewed here), then you will love this equally soft quintet. No complaints at all about pigmentation, staying power and so on.
Becca also has an Ombre Nudes palette in this range - with less-ruddy neutrals. Of the two, I would prefer Ombre Rouge as I like rosy neutrals better.
The palette costs $40 in Sephora here and at Ulta here. For worldwide shipping, buy it here.
