LookFantastic Beauty Box June 2016

Review and contents of the LookFantastic #LFJetSetter Beauty Box for June 2016

June's LookFantastic Beauty Box is themed #LFJetSetter, with products that will see you through a vacay. As usual, the box comes with this month's Elle UK magazine.
LookFantastic is a UK-based, skincare-centric monthly beauty subscription that ships worldwide. The white, yellow and gold design on this month's box features silhouettes of key tourist spots from around the world, including the Colosseum, the London Eye, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Statue of Liberty, Big Ben, and so on.

Korres Shower Gel in Basil Lemon

Infused with Vitamins C and E, and Zinc, this shower gel is an invigorating choice for the mornings. Will go into my travel bag.

Cowshed Cow Pat Hand Cream

I'm a Cowshed fan. This hand cream contains chamomile, grapefruit and cinnamon. Will be using this after my Caudalie hand cream runs out.

Naobay Oxygenating Cream

Contains Rosehip and Sweet Almond Oils. This is an ideal choice for post-sun-exposure moisturising, as it calms down the skin.

Caudalie Premier Cru Eye Cream

Recently, I wrote about must-have products from Caudalie and said I would love to try Premier Cru, their luxury range. And, a week later, I get a half-sized eye cream - score! It contains silver and copper to brighten the under-eye area and reduce puffiness and wrinkles. This is a 7ml sample; it costs £49 for 15ml.

Dead Sea Spa Magik BB Cream

I am a huge fan of products that contain Dead Sea Minerals. This also has Vitamin E. The BB Cream adapts well enough to my skintone, so I'll be using this once my post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation clears up.

Mr Blanc Minty Teeth Whitening Strips

Okay. I'm not a fan of receiving tooth whitening products - or food supplements - in beauty boxes. Don't get me wrong; I get through boxes of Crest or Boots strips very quickly and will be using these up. It's just that... send me a lip balm instead!

TanOrganic Self Tan Oil

I have not tanned much this year, and I like fake tan, BUT I already have enough to coat an army. This goes into the giveaway box.

Verdict and where to buy

A mixed bag this month. On the plus side - no black eyeliner pencil. I love that they sent out Caudalie's Premier Cru eye cream, and love Cowshed's hand cream and the BB Cream.
The minuses - the Korres Shower Gel is a much-repeated product. I think we are sick of seeing those same shower gels, box after box. And I prophesy a continued influx of tan-related products until Summer is officially over.
Go here to subscribe to these boxes - each box costs £15, but longer subscriptions will save you a bit of money. They also have an exclusive club for members now, with special offers and birthday prezzies.
