ASOS Beauty Advent Calendar 2018 Spoilers, Unboxing, Review: Ships Worldwide

The ASOS Beauty Advent Calendar for 2018 is now available worldwide here, with 24 products, and it is just £55. I think, based on the contents and price point, this is the best one available so far, though we still have quite a few coming out soon.
ASOS has done some very good advent calendars over the last couple of years. Here is the 2016 edition. You can see the 2017 edition here. Very consistent in terms of contents as well as price.
They also have a 12-day Summer calendar here.
This year's 24-day advent calendar contains a whole nine makeup products, including a full-sized lipstick. Brands inside include Benefit, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Clinique, and more.

This year, there are so many new names jumping on the Beauty Advent Calendar bandwagon, right from luxury store Harrods, to drugstore favourite Soap & Glory. Which hopefully means that the brands which previously had Beauty Advent Calendars would have to up the ante and make their calendars better than ever before, right?
LookFantastic has certainly done that this year, as also FeelUnique and ASOS. This ensures that you are coming back for next year's box!
Given that there are now more than 50 different Beauty Advent Calendars out there, I was hard-pressed to narrow it down to 15. So this - calendars which have improved with each year - became a criterion, and I've also included some of the new names, based on the contents.

Don't you LOVE it when a company improves on its previous year's efforts? ASOS has done just that with their Beauty Advent Calendar for Holiday 2017. It may cost £5 more in 2017, but the products inside are a great improvement on what we saw last year (click here for the ASOS Beauty Advent Calendar for 2016).
It looks like the ASOS Advent Calendar is giving LookFantastic's Beauty Advent Calendar a serious run for the money this year - but we don't know what the LF Calendar contains!

It comes in a reusable gift box and contains a nice mix of makeup and skincare.
