Antonia Burrell Forest Dew Skin Conditioner Review, How To Use

Antonia Burrell Forest Dew Skin Conditioner is versatile. It is a one-step product. It is a layer-able product. It is a moisturiser. It is a toner. It is a serum. It is an essence. It is a conditioner for the skin. What it really IS, is incredibly lush, nourishing, pampering, and gentle. Not to mention sustainably made, and cruelty-free.
Antonia Burrell, a UK-based faciallist with more than 20 years' experience, is Associate Lecturer at the London College of Fashion. Her Holistic Skincare collection is a range of multi-tasking products that are a natural blend of potent, predominantly organic, pure, bio-active plant extracts. The Forest Dew Skin Conditioner is my favourite in the range, and a part of my daily skincare routine.

Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Miracle Skin Cleanser Review

Last year, I stopped using bi-phase makeup removers and foaming cleansers after I found they were too harsh on my skin, making my breakouts worse. I first shifted to thick balm cleansers, such as Emma Hardie and Eve Lom, but both proved too much for my will-breakout-if-you-look-in-my-general-direction skin. That was when I discovered Aurelia Probiotic Miracle Cleanser.
Aurelia Probiotic is a 100% cruelty-free, botanical British skincare brand. They have some lovely oils and creams, but this cleanser is their cult product.

LookFantastic Beauty Box April 2016 Review

I had high expectations from the April '16 edition of LookFantastic. For starters, the theme was #LFBlooms - to celebrate Earth Month. For another, they said everything inside was a natural, organic and eco-friendly product. Naturally (pun unintended), I expected pampering, lush skincare from Pai, Antonia Burrell, Living Nature, Burt's Bees, Jurlique, Sukin, Trilogy, Nuxe and other botanical-centric brands sold on LookFantastic.

Scroll down for the review and contents of April 2016's LookFantastic Beauty Box.

Beautiful A.M. Moisturiser, P.M. Revitaliser review

Beautiful A.M. Moisturiser and P.M. Revitaliser review
No, I have not begun my own skincare brand, but that is the extent to which they personalise this moisturiser for you. Cool, innit? I am considering ordering a few with my name as stocking stuffers! That should give everyone a shock.
Since March, I have been using a face serum after cleansing. A serum is not actually a moisturiser, so above it, I apply a face moisturiser. The problem with having an oily, breakout-prone face is that 99% products out there give me acne. And, unless I moisturise, the acne treatment gives me flakes which stick out under makeup. Quite a catch-22 situation, eh?

I have been testing out the Beautiful A.M. Moisturiser and Night Revitaliser for some time now and here is my review.

MuLondon White Chocolate Elbow, Knee and Heel Cream review

MuLondon White Chocolate Elbow, Knee and Heel Cream review, usage results, photosWho doesn't love digging into a tub of creamy white chocolate? I prefer the white version over brown chocolate any day. I used to eat a tub of the Nestle Milkybar Little Pot Smooth and Creamy White Chocolate Dessert every single day - more if I was stressed - while at university (the lady at Sainsbury's checkout would stare at the number of tubs in my basket), and didn't grow fat. In fairness, I did ju-jitsu. And a set of four tubs came to just £1.00.
Now that we have established my love for white chocolate, you can guess how thrilled I was to receive a white chocolate-based elbow, knee and heel cream from MuLondon in my Christmas edition of the A Beautiful World beauty box from the UK (see unboxing here). This cream looked exactly like the Nestle dessert, and it was all I could do not to dig a finger in and taste it.

Here is my review of the MuLondon White Chocolate Elbow, Knee and Heel Cream.

Befine Food Skincare Warming Clay Face Mask review, use and results

Befine Warming Clay Face Mask review, usage and results
I got the Befine Food Skin Care Warming Clay Mask in my October Lip Factory box (see here). Having tried the Befine Exfoliating Cleanser in the June Lip Factory box and loved it, I decided to "de-sachet" the mask pachette. Although it said "single serve" on the packet, I got enough for four full uses out of the mask after emptying the lot into a Lush sample pot. And, it became my favourite face mask. It is suitable for all skin types - I have oily skin and find this mask suitable for me.
Befine Fine Food Skin Care is a New Jersey-based company that specialises in natural skin care products made out of food/edible ingredients. What's not to love? Their products are paraben-free, vegetarian protein-based and contain allergen-free fragrance.

Sulphate-free shampoo showdown II

Part I of the sulphate-free shampoo comparison saw The Body Shop, TIGI, Burt's Bees and Nature's Gate battle it out - you can read the post here. Here are four more sulphate-free shampoos up for consideration.
