Before I tell you about this year's Feelunique Advent Calendar, take a look at last year's offering from Feelunique here. This year, they've improved upon every aspect, from design to curation. Only the price remains the same at £30.

I'm going to wax eloquent about the packaging. When I took the calendar out of the external box, I was so wowed by the artwork. Photographs do NOT do this one justice, people.
The calendar has been designed by award-winning illustrator @moomooi, whose work I've shown you here previously here. Her figures are inspired by flowers, fruits and everyday objects. I'm going to have to keep the box - I threw last year's packaging away, but this one is too pretty to bin.
The Feelunique Magic of Beauty Advent Calendar for 2016 contains:
- Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier Shower Cream 50ml
- DECLÉOR Hydra Floral Multi-Protection BB Cream 24hr Moisture Activator SPF 15 - Medium 10ml
- Percy & Reed Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Balm 30ml
- Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Body Lotion 50ml
- Ole Henriksen Truth Sugar Glow Polishing Mask 15g
- NUXE Reve de Miel Baume Levres Ultra-Nourrissant Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm 15g
- Balance Me Instant Lift Pore Minimiser 5ml
- Laura Geller Beauty Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator 4.5g - Gilded Honey
- Rimmel The Only 1 Lipstick 3.8g - Best of the Best

- PÜR Cosmetics Illuminate & Glow Corrective Primer 30ml
Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier Shower Cream 50mlA repeat from last year. I haven't used the first tube up yet; it is in my travel bag. This one joins it. These smell mild and are sulphate- and paraben-free.
DECLÉOR Hydra Floral Multi-Protection BB Cream 24hr Moisture Activator SPF 15 - Medium 10mlFor once, a BB cream that matches my skintone perfectly. This is my shade! The downside is that there isn't as much coverage as I would like - now that I have acne scarring (working on getting rid of them), I need very high coverage. Will use this once my scarring fades and I can make do with less coverage.
Percy & Reed Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Balm 30mlI've used this before, from a LookFantastic beauty box. Love this for taming frizz and nourishing my dry hair.
Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Body Lotion 50mlThis smells FABULOUS. It is paraben-, phthalate-, sulphate-, mineral oil- and dye-free. I'm going to be travelling in the first week of December, and this will be coming along.
Ole Henriksen Truth Sugar Glow Polishing Mask 15gEverything in Ole Henriksen's Truth range smells like oranges. This is no exception. I'll be using this mask in my next pampering sesh.
NUXE Reve de Miel Baume Levres Ultra-Nourrissant Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm 15gAnother repeat from last year. Despite the jar packaging, this is perfect for winter when my lips turn repulsively dry and cracked.
Balance Me Instant Lift Pore Minimiser 5mlReminds me of Murad's Oil Control Mattifier - this dries matte on my face and creates a grease-free canvas for the next step, especially powder foundation.
Laura Geller Beauty Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator 4.5g - Gilded HoneySquee! This just replaced Becca (liquid and powder) SSP and theBalm's Mary Lou Manizer as my favourite highlighter. Gilded Honey was the most popular shade when these launched. It suits my skintone beautifully.
Rimmel The Only 1 Lipstick 3.8g - Best of the BestThe one product I will not be using from this advent calendar. Not a fan of red lipstick - some of us are too olive for red. Will be adding to my giveaway box.
Popband London 'Santa Baby' Hair Ties Duo PackThere was a hair tie from Popband last year as well. I'm always, always misplacing hair ties, tweezers and lip liners, so these are always welcome.
Bourjois Little Round Pot Eyeshadow Nude Edition 1.7g - Original 03 or Ingenude 01I got the shade Original. This is a sparkly neutral that will work well for Holiday parties.
PÜR Cosmetics Illuminate & Glow Corrective Primer 30mlI haven't tried many products from PÜR Cosmetics, so I'm glad they included this hydrating primer. It reminds me of Laura Mercier's Foundation Primer. There isn't much of a visible glow on me, but it is the kind of primer that helps full-coverage foundations such as Kevyn Aucoin's Sensual Skin Enhancer sink in easily.
In addition to the 12 products, there's also a discount voucher you can redeem while repurchasing any of the products in this calendar.
I'm thrilled to get the Laura Geller highlighter. And, 11 out of 12 products being useable for me isn't bad at all. I also love that everything is generously sized, and the brands chosen are all good names.
For just £30, this was a great deal, with five makeup products, two hair care products, two body care products, and three skincare products. Four of these are full-sized, and the individual cost exceeds that of the advent calendar. I loved last year's Feelunique Advent Calendar (here) - this year, they've improved on it further. I can't wait to see what they do next year.
Mandatory nitpicking: Would prefer no more repeats next year, though I can use the two repeats I got this year.

Predictably, this advent calendar is sold out. The beauty advent calendars that are still available include Molton Brown's pampering calendar, Molton Brown 12 Days of Christmas, Nuxe's Beauty Treasures, Selfridges' Beauty Calendar, and Charlotte Tilbury's Legendary Parties.
