Beauty Products Emptied In April 2016

M y new skincare routine includes drinking three litres of water a day - more if I am working out. I work out at least three times a week, even though my derm isn't a huge fan of sweat on my face right now. Also, six hours' sleep. I know, I know; we will get to eight eventually. Baby steps.
Product-wise, I go through non-foaming cleansing, acid toning/pads, hydrating mists, treatment, facial oil and a final coat of moisturiser - in that order - two times a day. Until January 2016, my routine involved a harsh cleanser, some kind of serum OR moisturiser - if I could be bothered - and oodles of benzoyl peroxide. Two - three at the most - glasses of water a day. What sleep? *Hangs head in shame*.

Human+Kind Body Lotion

Reviewed here. Loved every drop of this.
Repurchase? Nope. Availability; also, a bazillion other body creams await.

BubbleT Hibiscus and Acai Berry Tea Lotion

Oh, the fragrance was BEYOND delicious and I loved how silky this felt.
Repurchase? After a dent in stash. 

Burt's Bees Hand Salve

Responsible for decent hands in dry weather. Too rich for warm weather. Made me change the bedsheets more frequently.
Repurchase? I have a couple more of these tins.

Yes To Carrots Lip Butter

Very decent lip balm. Only gripe was, I accidentally applied it over lipstick and the entire tube turned mauve.
Repurchase? A couple more of these left.

Le Couvent Des Minimes Hiker's Foot Healer

There was enough of this foot cream for one use. Reminded me of L'Occitane's foot creams.
Repurchase? I will not be able to remember the name of this. L'Occitane is easier to remember.

YSL Black Opium EDP vial

I know a lot of people say this is a night perfume, but on me, it was a daytime scent.
Repurchase? Not quite me. I usually don't stray from my 4-5 regular fragrances, unless I have samples to use up.

Caudalie Micellar Water

Gentle. Does the job.
Repurchase? Have a couple more of these bottles left. Will think about it after they're over.

Bliss Soapy Suds

Used this as a bubble bath than a body wash because the smell in the tub was amazing. Blood orange and white pepper were a brilliant combination. Citrus and spice.
Repurchase? As a bubble bath, will buy. Awesome fragrance!

Korres Citrus Shower Gel

Used while travelling. Citrus wakes me up nicely.
Repurchase? Molton Brown fangirl forever!

Zymogen Ferment Serum and Lotion

Houttuynia Cordata, known as "gotu kola", is a herb that works on hormonal acne. Zymogen advertises their all-botanical skincare range as the "last resort" - when you've tried everything else for acne and failed. The serum and lotion were both lotion-like in formula. 
Repurchase? Two of each. Done and done.

Nude ProGenius Treatment Oil

Sinks in quickly, does not cause breakouts.
Repurchase? Probably not. There are even nicer facial oils out there - see this list.

Biotherm Aquasource Cream

Baby steps for me, so I only use very few products on my face now. This went more on the neck.
Repurchase? Nope. Biotherm has a gel formula I prefer.   

Sephora Express Eye Makeup Remover Wipes

Does the job when you have lashings of waterproof mascara and eyeliners.
Repurchase? Have a full box left, but will no longer purchase wipes of any kind.

Dr. Jart+ Eye Serum

I have been saving this forever. Beautifully gentle eye cream that actually hydrates and - YES - reduces dark circles, though gradually.
Repurchase? Have another tube, but yes, will buy. 

Phyto Phytobaume Express Conditioner

You know I love anything from this brand for intense hydration.
Repurchase? Dent required in condish stash first.

Bath & Body Works Rainkissed Leaves Shampoo

Was among complimentary toiletries from some hotel or the other. Not a huge fan of all that lather.
Repurchase? No, my hair needs far more gentle products.

Dr Dennis Gross One Step Acne Eliminating Pads

Despite owning quite a few exfoliating pads, I love Dr Dennis Gross the best. I prefer the original Alpha-Beta Peel pads. These were stronger.
Repurchase? No. I have the AB pads instead.

CosRx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid

In simple language, an affordable replacement for Paula's Choice 2% BHA.
Repurchase? Bought two full-sized bottles.

It's Skin Power 10 Formula WR Effector

I have NO idea what under the canopy this thing was, except that it came as a free sample with some Korean haul or the other. Applied it one night on the neck, crashed, woke up, lived as usual. End of.
Repurchase? ??
