Charlotte Tilbury Glowgasm Face Palette On Textured Medium-Tan Skin

The Charlotte Tilbury Glowgasm Face Palettes come in two variants - Lightgasm, for light to medium skins, and Lovegasm, for medium to dark skins. This post has the review and swatches of the Charlotte Tilbury Glowgasm palette in Lovegasm, and a tutorial of the palette used on textured, tan skin.
The Glowgasm palettes cost £60 each, and contain four shades - a "bronzer", a highlighter, a "multi-glow", and a "pop blush". The packaging is gorgeous, the whole thing feels and looks luxurious and heavy, and the pattern is very pretty.
Therein end the raves, for me at least. There are some real issues with this one. No, really - don't believe me? I have a proper demo of this thing right ahead.

Charlotte Tilbury Glowgasm Face Palette On Textured Medium-Tan Skin

As I promised, here's the step by step demo of this, including super-close looks at how this one enhances texture - you have been warned! Please do give my video a thumbs-up, and do subscribe to my channel; I post two new videos a week.

First of all, this isn't deep enough for medium/tan skintones. Secondly, there is WAY too much shimmer and glow in here. Thirdly, any kind of textured or oily skin? Run! In the opposite direction that is - these will act as beacons to your acne scars
There. I have NO idea what they were thinking with those two insanely shimmery blushes in one palette - surely, there could have been one matte blush? And, this one is marketed for medium-deep skins!

LOOK at that gorgeousness! I so, SO badly wanted to love this one. As of now, I'm continuing to use the bronzer for some peripheral dimension, and the highlighter as well. The other two are wastes of space. I might try again once my texture vanishes and my skin returns to normal, but I doubt I'll see results, given the massive shimmer madness there. I've also heard that these can improve over time, as the palette "warms up". Tempted as I am to heat it to see if that is true, I think I need more patience - a lot of it. Which shouldn't be the case when shelling out £60. Having gone through some reviews of the Lightgasm palette, I hear that one's even worse.
Now, if you did love this one, and want to get one, you can do so from here - they ship worldwide.
You can get the Lightgasm variant here, here, or here, and the Lovegasm palette here or here.
